Tiffany Stone

“Tiffany stone" is a trade name used for a gemstone often patterned with swirls or sections of purple, white, black, yellow, and violet-blue.  Tiffany stone is a rock composed primarily of fluorite with smaller amounts of opalcalcitedolomitequartz, chalcedony, bertrandite and other materials. Other names used for Tiffany stone are "opalized fluorite," "ice cream stone," and "bertrandite."

Some consider this gem a fluorite variety. However, because Tiffany stone has multiple minerals and mineraloids inside, it’s technically a rock, not a mineral like fluorite.

Tiffany stone is a rare material. It is mined at one location worldwide - the Brush Wellman beryllium mine, at Spor Mountain, western Utah.

Called the “Stone of Passion,” Tiffany stone represents enthusiasm, drive, and ambition. The gem also symbolizes dignity, magic, and devotion. In the Middle Ages, purple gems were used as protective talismans.

Tiffany stones also honour various mythological goddesses. One is Ceridwen, the goddess of inspiration in Welsh mythology and ruler of transformation in Wicca. Another goddess Tiffany stone honours is the Hindu goddess Vac, who personifies speech and inspires creative expression.

This stone brings the benefits of wisdom, spiritual connection, and serenity inherent to alpurple gemstones.

This mystical gem is known for being a powerful spiritual stone for transformation, protection, and freedom to live life on your own terms.  A stone of communication and unconditional love, Tiffany Stone heights our intuition to allow greater access to psychic abilities such as lucid dreams, clairvoyance, visions, clairaudience, telepathy, psychic channelling, and clairsentience.

ing, and clairsentience.
